Our Story
Williams Inn Pizzeria started in 1969 as a family owned and operated business. Lulu Williams, a single mother of seven, created her own pizza dough recipe along with a secret sauce and sausage flavor combination. Williams Inn flourished on Chicago’s South Side in the community of Englewood for 30 years, until an unfortunate fire destroyed the building.
Serving Chicago style deep dish pizzas endured the restaurant to the local community as well as people from across the city and state. In addition, we served handmade burgers, Italian beefs, and Chicken Wings that would have Chicago finest making lunch stops at all times of the day.
Today; Williams Inn Pizza & Sports Bar provides a full service restaurant and bar that is open from noon until 11pm Sunday thru Thursday and noon until midnight Friday and Saturday. The hours of operation make Williams Inn unique in that it will be able to service both the night life crowd and the lunchtime crowd. We offer all sports games, tournaments, live music nights, boxing matches/fights, and family fun events.
